Tapered Roller Bearings
Tapered roller bearings are radial thrust rolling bearings with tapered rollers. They have two types: small taper angle and large taper angle. The small taper angle bearings primarily carry combined radial and axial loads with a dominant radial component, often used in pairs with reverse mounting. The inner and outer rings can be installed separately, allowing for adjustment of radial and axial clearances during installation and use; The large taper angle bearings, on the other hand, are designed to carry combined axial and radial loads with a dominant axial component. They are generally not used alone to carry pure axial loads but can do so when arranged in pairs to carry pure radial loads.
